Here is the journal entry of Sir Roddwick Sonnkarst, member of the Order of Crimson Halfwing, on 16th Seftambria 215.
"Your presence is no longer important for Her Excellency, Sir Knight. Or perhaps you were knighted for nothing to begin with."
"Your light is dim, Sir Knight. You will not stand a chance against me, Her most favored knight!"
"I believe that your knighthood is invalid. How could she choose you as Her Knight?"
"You farmboy are not supposed to be here. Go back to your farmhouse, you useless knight!"
"Your service here is futile that she won't even care if you sacrifice your own life for her."
Those are the words that always flowing through my ears. Ever since the
day I was knighted, Her Excellency is paying me a less attention
compared with the other knights. Her Excellency only give me a small and
less frequent tasks to me, which makes me wonder whether she trust me
or not. At this point I'm afraid if what they say about my "uselessness"
is true and justified by the fact that my service is less important for
Her Excellency. If those words about me are true, then why Her
Excellency knighted me on that time? Why does she require me as one of
the member of Her Order of Knights? What is my purpose here? There must
be some certain reasons of my presence in this place. I'm not serving
her for nothing. Therefore, I shall craft my finest perseverance, slay
her enemies and defend her from the enemies' treacherous plots, and many
other life-taking missions, just to prove my sincere loyalty to her. Loyalty, that's the only word I can use to describe my affection
towards Her Excellency. For I'm just her mere servant, nothing but her
stepping stone in this cruel and harsh world.
